Day 1: Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport. You’ll board a small aircraft for a scenic one-hour flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will be waiting to welcome you and begin the 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Known for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees some of the oldest and biggest in Africa Tarangire offers incredible scenery and wildlife encounters. As you explore the park in a private open-roof safari vehicle, you’ll pass through seasonal swamps, grassy plains, and along the Tarangire River. Keep your eyes open for a variety of animals including giraffes, zebras, lions, and a wide range of bird species.

After an exciting day in the wild, you’ll head to your comfortable lodge for a relaxing evening, delicious dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Today begins with an early breakfast at the lodge before setting off on a 90-minute drive to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as Africa’s “Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the rare and elusive black rhino.

Spanning roughly 20 kilometers in diameter, the crater offers a rich ecosystem teeming with East Africa’s most iconic animals. You’ll spend about six hours exploring the diverse landscapes from open grasslands to swamps and forests on a thrilling game drive.

Enjoy your packed lunch at the scenic Ngoitoktok picnic site, with views over the peaceful Hippo Lake. After lunch, continue your afternoon exploration before returning to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you’ll head out on a short 40-minute drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This park is rich in wildlife and natural beauty, offering a chance to spot a variety of animals such as baboons, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and a wide range of bird species. With a bit of luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions!

Lake Manyara is known for its diverse scenery open grassy plains, dense forests filled with playful monkeys, and dramatic cliffs dotted with ancient baobab trees.

After your exciting game drive, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha Airport, where you’ll catch your flight back to Zanzibar. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure thank you for traveling with us!
