The 3-day bush escape tour is perfect for visitors interested in a short bush holiday or wildlife experience. The destinations included in the tour are Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. This tour can be modified to include recreational activities, cultural visits, and other adventures for people who are interested not only in wildlife but also in other activities.

Safari Tour Highlights

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning (at your agreed departure time), your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive approximately 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. This lush park remains green year-round thanks to underground water sources, attracting a stunning array of migratory and wetland birds, including a large number of flamingos.

Lake Manyara is also home to rich wildlife such as large troops of baboons, vervet and blue monkeys, tree-climbing lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, warthogs, kudus, elands, bushbucks, waterbucks, and impalas.

After your game drive, you will continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch for an unforgettable game drive on the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This spectacular volcanic caldera, formed over 3 million years ago, is the largest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, it is among Africa’s most breathtaking geological landmarks.

Home to over 25,000 resident animals, the crater’s diverse ecosystem features vast grasslands and acacia forests, providing a haven for an array of wildlife. Here, you will have the chance to spot the famed “Big Five”—rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, and leopard—along with many other species unique to the East African savannah.

In the evening, you will ascend the crater and continue to your lodge inside Tarangire National Park for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Special Experience:
A complimentary nature walk is available at Maramboi Camp, allowing you to immerse yourself in the African wilderness. This guided walk to Manyara and back offers a unique opportunity to stretch your legs, experience the landscape up close, and truly connect with nature.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

This morning, you will enjoy a hearty breakfast at your beautiful lodge before setting off on your final thrilling game drive in Tarangire National Park. Known for its diverse and breathtaking landscapes—ranging from open savannah and dense acacia woodlands to iconic baobab trees—Tarangire offers an unforgettable safari experience.

As you explore the park, you’ll witness incredible wildlife encounters in their natural habitat, making for a truly special farewell to Tanzania’s wilderness.

Later, you will be transferred to your respective airport in time for your flight back home or to your next destination. Saying goodbye is never easy, but we hope this journey has left you with wonderful memories—and we look forward to welcoming you again!
